The Archive

The collection, divided by theme and subject, comprises thousands of professional documents and notes, including designs, sketches, scripts, screenplays and storyboards, as well as a substantial photographic collection of the productions staged by Franco Zeffirelli in the leading theatres of the world, from the post-war era to today. There is also documentation related to his film and television productions. A copious amount of material that, for each subject, includes correspondences and press releases, as well as performance programmes, playbills and publicity material.
