Every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM during the months of April, May, June, September, and October, the Music Hall of the Zeffirelli Foundation hosts concerts by the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina.
Starting from September 2024, the Saturday guided tours led by the internal staff will return. At 11:00 AM, the Museum staff will be available to accompany you on an exclusive guided tour of the Zeffirelli Museum.

The Fondazione Franco Zeffirelli is pleased to announce the concert “Accordion Solo” by Italian accordionist Lorenzo Albanese, to be held in the evocative Music Hall of the Foundation. An afternoon dedicated to documentary cinema and to the cultural legacy of Franco Zeffirelli: on Saturday, 15 November, at 4:00 p.m., the Educational Rooms of the Franco Zeffirelli Foundation will host the final screening of the course “How to Make a Documentary”, led by film director and documentarian Luca Verdone. ollowing the students’ screenings, the Foundation will present Per Firenze (For Florence), the documentary Franco Zeffirelli made in 1966 during the days of the Florence flood.
The Franco Zeffirelli Foundation is pleased to host, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the event “Dialects in Theatre: History, Innovations, and Audience Reception”, which will take place in the Sala della Musica at Piazza San Firenze 5, Florence. The Zeffirelli Archive takes part in ARCHIVI.DOC, an initiative promoted by ADSI – Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane, as part of the national event “CARTE IN DIMORA. Archives and Libraries: stories between past and future.”
On Saturday, May 31 at 4:00 PM, the Zeffirelli Foundation will host the lecture-concert "Franco Zeffirelli, Carlo Bergonzi, and the Accademia Verdiana of Busseto", in collaboration with the Carlo Bergonzi Verdian Academy of Busseto.
Thursday, May 15th, the Zeffirelli Museum will offer extended opening hours from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, including a guided tour with the reduced admission ticket. This initiative is part of the "Amico Museo 2025" event
On April 9 at 4:00 PM, the presentation of the book "Ennio Morricone. Il genio,l'uomo, il padre" by Marco Morricone and Valerio Cappelli will take place. Andrea Morricone will perform two of his father's famous pieces on the piano for the audience. The event will be moderated by Gregorio Moppi, music critic for La Repubblica.
On November 22, at the headquarters of the Franco Zeffirelli Foundation in Florence, a scholarly conference will be held to explore Franco Zeffirelli's contributions to the performing arts in the latter half of the 20th century. The presentations will be available to stream live on the Foundation's YouTube channel: @FondazioneZeffirelli.
From Oct. 4 to Nov. 30, 2024, the music room of the Zeffirelli Foundation will host an exhibition of the Costumes designed by Danilo Donati for Franco Zeffirelli’s film Fratello Sole, Sorella Luna.
