Book Presentation: Ennio Morricone. Il genio, l’uomo, il padre
The Fondazione Zeffirelli is pleased to host the presentation of the book “Ennio Morricone. The Genius, the Man, the Father”, written by Marco Morricone and Valerio Cappelli, published by Sperling & Kupfer, with a foreword by Aldo Cazzullo.
This book stands apart from other works dedicated to the great Maestro: it tells the story of the man rather than the composer, revealing the person behind the legend through a series of unpublished episodes and anecdotes featuring iconic figures such as Sergio Leone, Joan Baez, Clint Eastwood, and Quentin Tarantino. It also explores Morricone’s early years as part of the experimental group Nuova Consonanza.
Marco Morricone, the Maestro’s eldest son and close collaborator, along with Valerio Cappelli, a longtime friend, offer an intimate and private portrait like never before. The book also includes a QR code to listen to one of Morricone’s last compositions, created for the play Ci sono giorni che non accadono mai, performed in 2020 with Sergio Castellitto and Isabella Ferrari.
Special guests at the presentation:
A special video of Ennio Morricone conducting will be screened, accompanied by exclusive unpublished images.

🎟 Free entry until capacity is reached.
