Dada Saligeri

Dada Saligeri, costume and set designer, trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and pursued an international career.

For cinema she signed the costumes for San Babila ore 20: un delitto inutile by Carlo Lizzani and The day Christ died by James Cellan Jones.

In the theatrical sphere, she has devoted herself mainly to opera, collaborating with the greatest costume designers and working with directors of the caliber of Franco Zeffirelli (Otello, Turandot), Luca Ronconi (Demophoon), Giorgio Strehler (Cavalleria rusticana), Filippo Crivelli (Il turco in Italia, Rigoletto), Sonja Frisell (Aida, Traviata). His work as a costume designer has taken place at the most important Italian and foreign theaters: from La Scala in Milan to La Fenice in Venice to San Carlo in Naples, from the Metropolitan in New York to the Lyric Opera in Chicago, from the Staatsoper in Vienna to the Berlin Opera House and the Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro.

The teaching activities, exhibitions and fittings for high fashion

Parallel to her artistic work, Dada Saligeri has been active in teaching and has carried out numerous exhibitions, events and haute couture fashion shows, including the Meeting of European Transport Ministers at the Royal Palace in Naples and in Brussels at the European Community. He has also collaborated with the Campania Region and the City of Naples on the artistic realization of the Naples Metro.
