The Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina is one of Europe’s most renowned chamber orchestras. It was founded in 1981 by the esteemed Italian conductor Giuseppe Lanzetta, and its musicians are all professors from the prestigious Florence Conservatory. The orchestra has been praised for its extensive repertoire, embodying a wide range of composers within the chamber music genre.
Their reputation has grown steadily through performances across Italy and appearances on national television and radio. Internationally, the orchestra has performed at prestigious venues, including the International Music Festival of Mexico City.
About the Violin Soloist – Marco Lorenzini
Marco Lorenzini studied violin under Maestro Roberto Michelucci at the Florence Conservatory, graduating in 1981. He furthered his studies in viola at the Morlacchi Conservatory of Perugia. Over the years, he has collaborated with major symphony orchestras in Tuscany, performing under world-renowned conductors.
For over 20 years, he has been the first violin soloist of the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, playing in prestigious festivals in Brazil, Malta, Slovenia, and Poland. Many of his performances have been broadcast on television and radio. In addition to his career as a soloist, he is the first violinist of the Ensemble Michelangelo and has composed several chamber and solo pieces. He is recognized as one of the most brilliant musicians of his generation.
